Sales Tax
Urban Cottage is located in Peapack, NJ. Sales tax of 7% will be charged.

Shipping
All sales are shipped through UPS Ground and USPS. Shipping fees are calculated by weight and determined by the zip code of the recipient. We do our best to ship within 2 business days of the order date.
Expedited shipping is currently not offered. We do hope to offer this service in the future.
Additional freight charges will apply on furniture/oversized items.
We do not replace or refund items that are lost or damaged by the delivery carrier unless insurance was purchased prior to the order being shipped.

Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with your online purchase, you may contact us for an exchange within 14 days of your package’s delivery. All merchandise must be returned in its original packaging and must be in unused condition with tags on the merchandise. Urban Cottage must issue a Return Authorization number that you must include with the returned item. Please ship it back to us prepaid and insured. Urban Cottage is not responsible for return shipping charges. Urban Cottage is not responsible for merchandise that is lost, stolen, or damaged during its return to our shop. Once Urban Cottage has received the unused, unworn merchandise, a web credit will be issued. Online merchandise can only be exchanged for other online merchandise.

Final Sale Items    
Final Sale items may not be returned or exchanged. These include but are not limited to the following:
Custom orders, vintage items, Paint the Town orders, Sugarboo art orders, earrings, lotions and liquids of any kind, books, gourmet, food, and perishables. Holiday décor and clearance/sale are all FINAL SALE.

Damaged Goods
Urban Cottage packs its merchandise with care. Occasionally merchandise does get damaged by the shipper while in transit. In this instance, please contact the store immediately by email. Please email a photo of the damage and save the packaging so the shipper can inspect it. Do not mail merchandise back to Urban Cottage. You must contact Urban Cottage to receive a Return Authorization number. Damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery or all claims are null and void.

Cancellations
Once your order has been placed, we cannot guarantee that it can be canceled. Please email as soon as possible at info@urbancottagegoods.com. If the order has not yet shipped it will be canceled. If it has been shipped, please refer to our exchange policy.

Privacy
Urban Cottage is committed to your privacy. We will never sell or share your information with any third party. Any information we collect from you through our contact form or through the online shopping cart process will be kept confidential. We will use the information only in response to your inquiry or to contact you about your order if necessary, and for our regular email updates to our customers.

Vintage Items

All of our found objects/vintage items are sold "as is." These items should be expected to have normal wear consistent with age. They are often chippy, worn, tarnished or fabulously imperfect. Please email us at info@urbancottagegoods.com with any questions prior to purchase. All found objects/vintage/antique items are final sale. No exceptions.
